A Balanced Whole
Whole Science brings together the objective (the 'outer' world) and the subjective (our 'inner' world) in order for us to further understand our consciousness, the power of our minds. The magazine rests on the idea that we need an integrated understanding of who we are; if we are not divorced from our own minds, then we need first person, subjective accounts of the power of consciousness as well as third person, objective studies. Therefore this site is comprised of two main parts:
Whole Science: The Whole Science (and the 'Shifts in Science') section details the objective evidence from decades of research into the mind, and details research from a wide variety of sources, such as The Institute of Noetic Sciences, HeartMath, and The Parapsychological Association.
Their work represents the 'collective' part of Whole Science, and enables you to get a 'third person' perspective on the objective studies in consciousness. You can take part in collective experiments such as the Global Consciousness Project and The Intention Experiments which can provide statistical evidence for the power of our thoughts.
The Whole Science section represents the 'left' hemisphere of our brains- a place where you can gain the latest information from those in the know- the collective group of scientists dedicated to studying the power of consciousness.
The Power of You: The Power of You Section is the practical, lived application of mind and matter interactions- our individual, private experience of consciousness. It is a place for you to practise the power of your own mind by utilising principles and formulas from tried and tested personal development techniques. It is represented by the surge in popularity of self help books that teach you how to focus your mind.
This experiential nature of the site provides you with tools for you to test out the power of your own consciousness- to devise your own 'experiments' and to explore the power of belief.
The Power of You section represents as the 'right' hemisphere of your brain- the place for you to state your opinion, tell your story and connect with others around the world who are also utilising these principles for their own empowerment.
Balance:
Whole Science also provides a platform for the synthesis of consciousness studies, as collective research evidence can now begin to be tested through our own personal experience.
