Liverpool John Moores University - Consciousness and Transpersonal Psychology 

The MSc in Consciousness and Transpersonal Psychology is distinctive in the way it brings together the two key disciplines of Consciousness Studies and Transpersonal Psychology. The former grounds our enquiries in the scientific understanding of the nature of consciousness and its relation to the brain and to our world more generally. The latter emphasises our potential for transformation – to explore realms beyond the individual ego.

Northampton University- Transpersonal Psychology and Consciousness Studies  Transpersonal Psychology and Consciousness Studies (MSc) is an emerging new field within psychology. It is an exciting area that offers both new scientific insight into the functioning of human consciousness and practical skills in applying altered and higher states of consciousness to practical, psychological, educational, and other tasks.

Coventry University - Psychology of Exceptional Human Experiences This course relates to the perennial human interest into human experiences of a ‘psychic’ or spiritual nature, grounding these experiences in the practice of those two fields of Psychology which have most clearly sought to investigate the nature of exceptional human experience; Parapsychology and Transpersonal Psychology.

Liverpool Hope University- Parapsychological Research Unit 

The Parapsychology Research Group is dedicated to the study of anomalous or ‘psychic’ experiences. Such experiences appear to reflect methods of communication and /or mind-matter interaction that are not fully understood within the current scientific framework.

Goldsmiths University of London- Anomalistic Research Unit 

The unit, headed by Professor French, provides a focus for research activity in the area of anomalistic psychology.

University of Edinburgh- Koestler Parapsychology Unit The unit is part of the Psychology Department (School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences) at the University of Edinburgh. It consists of a group of academic staff and postgraduate students with an active interest in parapsychology.

University of Arizona- Center for Consciousness Studies The study of human consciousness is one of science's last great frontiers. After being neglected for many years (i.e. during a period of dominance by behaviorism in psychology), interest in the science of consciousness exploded in the last decades, with much progress in neuroscience, psychology, philosophy, and other areas.

Santa Barbara Institute for Consciousness Studies The Santa Barbara Institute for Consciousness Studies is dedicated to furthering such interdisciplinary and cross-cultural investigation of the nature and potentials of consciousness and extending its benefits to the general public.

Schumacher College - Holistic Science

Schumacher College’s MSc in Holistic Science explores new transdisciplinary methodologies that are gaining success in explaining natural systems. These recognize that complex systems have “emergent properties” that describe their characteristics as wholes and that these properties are conditioned, but not determined, by the system’s constituent parts.
