Mind over Matter Technology: Introducing Psyleron

lamp_cyan_thumbImagine a lamp that responds to your conscious or subconscious mind by changing colour… It sounds unbelievable, but new consciousness technologies organisation Psyleron has created such a device.

Founded from the The Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research (PEAR) lab, which has spent nearly twenty eight years studying the idea that the mind can influence the physical world, Psyleron was founded by ex-interns and members of the PEAR lab with the purpose of conducting additional research and allowing the public to explore and take advantage of these phenomena themselves.

Unlike a traditional research laboratory or for profit organization, Psyleron produces products that are of both research and practical interest. In addition to experiments involving Remote Viewing, the lab conducted extensive experimentation with devices known as Random Event Generators (REGs) and found that volunteers (referred to as operators) were able to shift the output of these devices in accordance with their own intention.

The MindLamp The MindLamp is an attractive color changing lamp influenced by consciousness.  Inside the lamp is a quantum measurement device called a random event generator, or REG.The output of the REG device causes the lamp to cycle through almost any color of the rainbow, and to the extent that they can generate effects, users or groups are able to create color changes or lamp activity that corresponds with intention.

What would people use it for?

•·  As a device for exploring intention and how states of mind can influence an outside device.  This means it is particularly useful for active forms of mental training and conscious influence such as meditation. Test your PK (Psychokinesis) skills as you attempt to mentally influence the lamp. Find out whether your intention works best when you’re relaxed, attentive, or passively focusing on the colour.

•· To observe and experience group dynamics. Similar to a Field REG (like the ones used in the Global Consciousness Project), interactions between people may cause the lamp to change colors, shift at a more rapid rate, etc. What happens when your friends come round and group attention is focused on the football results?
